Welcome!

Pleasanton is a special place and protecting our quality of life, expanding and preserving open space, strengthening public safety and keeping our city’s financial base strong have been my priorities as Mayor.

As I seek another term as Mayor, my priorities will remain consistent.

With my colleagues on the City Council and the help of our dedicated City staff, we have accomplished a great deal over the last four years.

• In 2009 the crime rate decreased by 13%
• We streamlined permitting and improved communication by reorganizing the Public Works, Planning and Building departments into a single department
• We opened Phase 1 of the Bernal Community Park, which will one day be Pleasanton’s largest park spanning 318 acres

With continued prudent management, we will go on delivering quality services to residents and businesses alike. We set aside reserves against an economic downturn and are taking steps to make sure we can provide city services more efficiently.

If you give me your vote, I will continue to work hard on your behalf to keep Pleasanton a great place to live, work and raise our families. Together, we can work for a better Pleasanton.

I would be honored to have your support.

Jennifer
